Our Message: There IS hope!The forum is made up of many women who are successfully battling and/or have survived lung cancer.
Our Mission:To help raise awareness about the occurrence of lung cancer in women, to erase the stigma of smoking associated with lung cancer, and to provide hope and support for women who have been diagnosed.
Who we are: The Women's Lung Cancer Forum is a group of made up of physicians, patients, families, researchers, and friends, who are all working towards the same goal:
Our meetings: We meet the second Wednesday of every month at 850 Boylston St, Chestnut Hill, MA. Click here for directions. Spouses, family, and friends are welcome to attend. The meetings serve not only as a support group, but also an educational resource for women diagnosed with lung cancer. A different speaker attends each meeting and educates the group about a topic that pertains to various aspects of lung cancer. How you can get involved: Contact us with stories or questions, come to lung cancer events, inform friends and family of the risks of lung cancer to help raise awareness.
